BIOGRAPHY
I was born in Thessaloniki in 1978. After graduating from Anatolia College, I continued my education in the United Kingdom, studying Business Administration and Sports Management. That education gave me a way of thinking that continues to shape my professional decisions.
I started at twenty two, in a market built on personal relationships, trust and consistency. Working with Mike Makaab at Prosport International, across South Africa and Europe, gave me an early understanding of international representation. In 2004, I founded ProSport in Athens.

INTERNATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Across more than thirty countries, I have developed an extensive network of owners, presidents, sporting directors, coaches and football executives. Direct communication, an understanding of different markets and mutual respect allow us to work with clarity, including on the most demanding transactions.
My work with Knowledge Musona, Bernard Parker, Collins Mbesuma, Nasief Morris and Jonathan Mensah is part of that international journey. Experience in each market informs the way we prepare for the next opportunity.
SELECTED CAREERS
Every player has different strengths, needs and ambitions. The plan is built around them and develops as the player progresses.

Girona → Panathinaikos · 2026
Ounahi returned to Panathinaikos on a permanent transfer with a four year contract on 3 September 2026. The international AS1 team brought together knowledge of the Greek market, relationships with both clubs and careful coordination. The sporting opportunity and the ambitions of the player guided the process.

Olympiacos → Esbjerg → Willem II → Olympiacos → Liverpool → Roma
Loans at Esbjerg in 2016 and Willem II in 2017 provided playing time and room to develop. He returned to Olympiacos, joined Liverpool in 2020, renewed his contract in 2023 and moved to Roma on loan in 2025. Each stage introduced different demands and prepared him for the next.

PAOK → VfL Wolfsburg → AS Roma
From his emergence at PAOK to the Bundesliga in 2024 and Roma in 2026. His development reflects a clear sporting plan, adaptation to demanding environments and consistency in the decisions around his career. I explore the thinking behind this journey in the Blog.

Working with the captain of Greece and a European champion carried a particular responsibility. His move to Fulham in 2012 gave an outstanding career a further chapter in the Premier League. Karagounis finished his international career with 139 appearances for Greece.

PLAYER MARKETING
At ProSport, we made marketing part of career strategy early on. The personality of a player, the way they communicate and the partnerships they choose shape their relationship with the public and their commercial opportunities.
We created events and Meet & Greet experiences for Tsimikas, Douvikas and Koulierakis, connecting their careers with supporters, brands and the media. The presentation of the KT21 collection showed how a distinct personal identity can develop into a commercial project of its own.
The event with Tasos Douvikas at Atraktos and the exclusive conversation with Konstantinos Koulierakis brought their mentality and values into focus. The partnership between Kostas Tsimikas and Giant Heart by Novibet, including a Meet & Greet in England, connected his public profile with social initiatives. KT21 included a collection for World Stray Animals Day. Our work in this area covers positioning, content, image rights and the selection of suitable commercial partnerships.
AS1 SPORTS
The first acquisition of a Greek agency in our sector brought more than twenty years of knowledge, relationships and achievements together with the technology, data and specialist support of AS1. As Founder of AS1 Greece, a partner and shareholder in the group, I lead our operations in Greece and contribute to its international development.
My role and AS1

PUBLIC CONTRIBUTION
In 2008, I organised an event against racism in football in Athens. My service at the National Sports Centres of Thessaloniki and on Thessaloniki City Council added a further dimension to that public contribution. Education for athletes, dual careers and preparation for life after sport remain areas of lasting interest and responsibility.

The quality of a decision becomes clear in the progress that follows. That is where I keep my focus.
